Chinese Drama Dubbing: Indian Languages
Budget: ₹1,250 – ₹2,500 INR
I’m gearing up to launch a new Indian OTT service that will feature a large slate of Chinese and Korean micro-dramas. To make this catalogue connect with viewers across the country, I need a dubbing partner who can take full ownership of the localisation workflow—translation, script adaptation, voice recording, and the final sound mix.
Here’s what the project looks like from my side:
• Volume & cadence: several hundred hours of short-form episodes, released in weekly batches, so the collaboration will be truly ongoing once we lock in quality and workflow.
• Languages: immediate priority is Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Bengali, with scope to expand into other regional tongues as the platform grows.
• Audience profile: general, family-friendly streamers—so neutral, natural, region-appropriate deliveries matter more than overtly theatrical reads.
• Assets supplied: original Mandarin or Korean video masters, dialogue lists and any available reference scripts.
• Assets expected back per episode: adapted Hindi/Telugu/Tamil/Bengali scripts, clean voice tracks, final mixed stems ready for OTT ingest, and a quick QC report confirming lip-sync and timing.
If your studio can provide native translators, seasoned voice talent, Pro Tools or Nuendo mixing expertise, and a streamlined QC process, I’d like to start with a paid pilot episode and scale up rapidly from there. Let me know about your current dubbing pipeline, demo reels, typical turnaround for 20-minute content, and any capacity limits so we can map out a release calendar together.
