C# Mentorship & Live Support
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
Project Description:
I’m looking for an experienced C# developer and mentor who can understand an existing real-world project, then provide personalized training, pair programming sessions, and live job support until the requestor becomes fully comfortable handling the project independently.
The objective is not only to learn C# concepts but also to gain hands-on, job-ready experience through real project work, mentoring, and guided practice.
Responsibilities:
Review and understand the current project’s codebase, architecture, and tools.
Conduct interactive teaching and pair programming sessions to explain key concepts, design patterns, and implementation details.
Provide live, ongoing support while the requestor works on actual project tasks — including debugging, walkthroughs, and real-time problem solving.
Help the requestor adopt best practices, clean coding standards, and efficient workflows.
Ensure the requestor can confidently manage the project independently by the end of the engagement.
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET (Core or Framework), and related technologies.
Ability to quickly understand an existing codebase and guide others through it.
Experience conducting pair programming or collaborative coding sessions.
Solid knowledge of APIs, SQL Server, debugging, and Visual Studio.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills — must be patient, clear, and encouraging.
Prior experience in training, mentoring, or providing live job support is highly preferred.
Deliverables:
Initial project review and explanation of key components.
Structured teaching and pair programming sessions aligned with the project’s technology stack.
Live mentoring and support during real project work until full confidence is achieved.
Guidance on writing, reviewing, and optimizing production-level code.
Duration & Availability:
Expected duration: 4–6 weeks (flexible) or until the requestor is comfortable managing the project independently.
Must be available for live, on-demand mentoring or pair programming sessions (timing to be mutually agreed upon).
