Automated betting (scrapper and betting bot)
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I would like a horse racing betting scrapper built from scratch to automatically get data from a racing website into Excel file and then reformat the data to create a list of races for any racing date for further analysis, selection of bets and automatically placing the bets on Betfair. There are about 6 basic stages involved which are
1. Automatically scrape data from the specified website.
2. Save data to Excel file in suitable format and reformat the data to requirements.
3. Reconstruct the race card in a suitable format
4. Apply formulae to the reconstructed race card and select bets
5. Automatically place the selected bets on Betfair betting exchange at required prices and liability at a click of a button.
6. Keep a profit and loss record of betting activities in excel (with options for demo and real)
The scrapper should
• be a desktop application for Windows OS, built to work with Excel, flawless, accurate, portable, easy to update and for any racing date
• work on click of button
• work fast and use automation of Web Browser (Chrome or Edge)
• retrieve and manipulate all data automatically
The job will involve revisions based on my feedback and time scale can be negotiated. The application and data are for my private use and must not require a license or a need to seek special permission each time I want to use it on another computer and final deliverables to include program EXE file and all files of the project.
