Boutique Visual Merchandising Revamp

Job ID: 39992291

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m ready to refresh our upscale children’s boutique and need a part-time visual merchandiser who can translate our brand’s warm, family-oriented spirit into an inviting, sales-driving environment.

Store layout is where I’d like you to focus most. I’m envisioning clearly sectioned areas arranged by category so parents can glide from newborn styles to pre-teen picks without hunting. Within that framework, formal wear and casual wear must take centre stage; they’re the heart of our business and deserve prime, photogenic real estate. Seasonal capsules can remain flexible touchpoints we rotate in after the main zones feel perfected.

To make the collaboration smooth, here’s what I need from you:
• A concise floor plan sketch (digital is fine) showing the new category-based zones.
• Styling guidelines for feature tables, racks and mannequins that spotlight our formal and casual collections.
• A simple lighting and prop suggestion sheet to ensure each zone feels cohesive and on-brand.
• A quick reference timetable so the changeover can be executed in stages without closing the store.

Please draw on any experience you have with children’s apparel, small-footprint boutiques, or premium retail; if you use tools like SketchUp, InDesign, or even hand-drawn mock-ups, just let me know so I can prepare the right formats.

Once we agree on the concept, I’ll handle product sourcing and staff coordination—you supply the creative roadmap that turns our space into the best-dressed destination in town.
