VFX Artist required

Job ID: 40355041

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

This project involves high-end VFX compositing for a premium OTT web series. The objective is to achieve feature-quality integration of digital elements into live-action plates, adhering to a color-managed, linear workflow pipeline suitable for streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Software & Pipeline Requirements
Primary Tool
Mandatory: Foundry Nuke
Node-based, non-destructive workflow required
Proper script organization with readable node graph
Pipeline Discipline
Strict adherence to shot-based workflow
Versioning and naming conventions must be followed
Maintain clean, modular Nuke scripts for scalability and review

Scope of Work
Advanced compositing and integration of CG/digital assets
Photorealistic match integration (lighting, perspective, lens characteristics)
Accurate grain, noise, and texture matching
Edge integration including light wrap, defocus, and motion blur consistency
Multi-pass compositing using EXR layers (diffuse, specular, Z-depth, etc.)

Inputs Provided
Final plates (camera-ready footage)
Look references / creative direction

Deliverables
Final output in OpenEXR sequence (.exr)
Channels/passes must be preserved if requested
Delivery must strictly match approved export settings (attached reference)
Script Delivery (if required)
Fully functional Nuke script (.nk)
All file paths properly linked / relative where possible
No broken nodes or missing dependencies

Color Management & Workflow
Mandatory linear workflow
Color pipeline: Default project-defined linear color space
Requirements:
Proper Input Device Transform (IDT) handling
Correct Working Space (Linear)
Accurate Output Device Transform (ODT) preview
No baked-in LUTs unless explicitly instructed
Maintain full dynamic range (no clipping or crushing)

Quality Standards
The final output must meet OTT platform delivery standards:
Seamless integration with zero visible compositing artifacts
Physically accurate lighting and shadow behavior
Consistent depth cues and atmospheric blending
Proper lens emulation (distortion, chromatic aberration, bokeh where required)
Grain structure must match source footage precisely

Skill Requirements
Advanced-level compositing expertise in Nuke
Strong understanding of:
Multi-pass EXR workflows
Color pipelines (linear workflows)
Roto refinement and edge detailing
Proven experience in film / OTT / broadcast VFX pipelines
Strong visual judgment for realism and continuity

Delivery & Review Workflow
Shot-wise delivery with version tracking (v001, v002, etc.)
Iterative feedback cycles expected
Ability to incorporate notes quickly and accurately
Maintain consistency across sequences

Compliance Notes
Follow naming conventions, folder structures, and pipeline guidelines strictly
No deviation from approved color workflow or export settings
Maintain data integrity across all deliverables

Task
Remove the man bun (choti) from the footage and replace it with hair (reference attached).

Total shots: 14
Task: Clean, natural-looking output required (no visible patching or distortion)
Consistency across all shots is important.
