Short Film VFX & Transitions

Job ID: 40315977

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I have already shot a short-film sequence and now want to elevate it with eye-catching visual effects and silky-smooth transitions. Editing is the main focus of this project—I’m not requesting new footage or script help—so your expertise should be centred on crafting a polished, cinematic cut that highlights the story through motion graphics, compositing, and creative pacing.

Scope
• Trim and arrange the existing clips into a coherent narrative flow (roughly 4–6 minutes).
• Design and integrate visual effects that enhance, rather than distract from, the plot—think subtle compositing, light leaks, match cuts, or glitch elements where appropriate.
• Apply transition work that feels purposeful and fluid, avoiding stock “plug-in spam” aesthetics.
• Light colour grading and basic audio levelling so the final master is presentation-ready.
• Deliver both the final 4K render and the editable project files (Premiere Pro + After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve/Fusion if that’s your preferred stack).

While my primary need is VFX and transitions, I’m open to brief suggestions on narrative tightening or a sprinkle of atmospheric sound design if it serves the picture.

Acceptance Criteria
1. Visual effects complement the story without obvious artefacts.
2. Transitions are clean, on beat, and never overused.
3. Final export passes a quick online QC check (no dropped frames, black flashes, or audio pops).
4. All project files are neatly organised so I can continue learning from your workflow.
