Exercise Manual Layout & Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have all of the written content and high-resolution photos for our new exercise manual; what I need now is your eye for layout, consistency, and visual polish. The finished piece must be a clean, on-brand editable PDF that flows naturally from section to section, with text blocks sitting neatly beside the right images and plenty of white space so the workouts feel approachable rather than cramped.
Here’s how I see the workflow:
• You set up a master template that locks in our brand colours, headline hierarchy, page numbers, and any call-out styles.
• Text is formatted for readability—think clear headings, sub-headings, bullet lists where it helps, and no awkward breaks between pages.
• Every exercise photo is placed, cropped, or masked so it aligns flush with the grid and keeps consistent margins.
• Decorative touches—simple icons, rule lines, or section dividers—add personality without competing with the instructional content.
• Two rounds of revisions let us fine-tune copy edits or swap images before export.
The deliverable is the final print-ready PDF plus the packaged source file (InDesign or your preferred professional layout tool) so we can update it in-house later if needed.
Timeline: first full draft within two weeks, final sign-off no later than four weeks from project start.
When you reply, please link to past manuals, lookbooks, or similar long-form documents you have designed. Seeing how you balance text with photography will help me choose the right partner quickly.
