K-12 Dance Curriculum Development
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 CAD
I’m ready to commission a complete, Ministry-of-Education–aligned dance curriculum for the K–12 spectrum. The writing must be polished enough for publication yet flexible enough for everyday classroom use, speaking simultaneously to teachers, students, administrators, principals, and even parents who want insight into the program.
Scope of work
The project centres on arts education—specifically Dance—and I need three core components built from the ground up:
• Lesson Plans: sequential, age-appropriate sessions that spiral skills and vocabulary through Grades K–12, each tied explicitly to the relevant provincial learning outcomes.
• Teacher Guides: clear facilitation notes, cross-curricular links, equipment lists, classroom management tips, and differentiation strategies for diverse learners.
• Assessment Tools: rubrics, checklists, self- and peer-evaluation sheets, plus exemplar comment banks mapped to the achievement standards.
Throughout, please organise the content consistently, embed inclusive language, and format everything so it can drop straight into a board-level handbook or LMS. The finished files should be publication-ready, visually tidy (think clean styles in Word or Google Docs), and exportable to PDF. If you work in Figma or Webflow for layout, feel free to leverage those skills—the final look should rival a small press manual.
Timeline & collaboration
I’m aiming for initial drafts within two weeks and a final, fully edited package by week four. We’ll iterate quickly: I review, you revise, we sign off. Regular check-ins over Zoom or Slack keep the momentum strong.
Acceptance criteria
• Alignment with current Ministry standards is explicit and referenced.
• Each grade band (K–3, 4–6, 7–9, 10–12) contains at least six detailed lessons.
• Assessment tools match the performance indicators described in the lessons.
• Style guide followed: consistent headers, fonts, citation format, and file naming.
• All materials pass a plagiarism scan and are your original work.
