excel sheet to track equipment down time

I am looking for a freelancer to create an excel sheet for me to track the downtime of my construction equipment.
Specific format: No, I'm open to suggestions.
Equipment: I will be tracking the downtime of my construction equipment.
Status update frequency: The equipment's status will be updated on a daily basis.
I would like this spreadsheet to track and chart
- What date and shift the equipment was sent shop (day shift or night shift) and the day and shift the equipment was returned
- sort by equipment
- Be able to look at past dates when equipment was down and for how long
- See what equipment is currently down and how long it has been at the shop
- Show what % of equipment is available at the current date
- Show what % of equipment was available in the past
The inputs would be the date and shift the equipment was sent to the shop to be repaired and the day and shift when it was returned. Ultimately I want to see when equipment goes to the shop how long they have it and what equipment keeps going back to the shop.
