Word Cleanup for IMDb Submission
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a short, 250-word paragraph that I copied from another website into Microsoft Word. Since pasting it, I’m seeing odd, non-printing artefacts—little dots, stray spaces or other markers popping up after many words. I’m not sure exactly what they all are, but every trace of them has to disappear before I move the text over to IMDb.
Any method that gets the job done is fine with me—manual inspection, Word’s built-in “Show/Hide ¶” tools, a quick VBA macro or an external script. All I care about is receiving a document that looks identical on the surface yet contains no hidden characters or formatting glitches underneath.
Deliverables
• A cleaned .docx (or .rtf) with every unwanted marker, extra space and formatting code removed
• A brief summary of what you found and how you fixed it so I can avoid the issue next time
Once I have the revised file I should be able to paste straight into IMDb without surprises. The task is tiny, so I’m hoping for a quick turnaround—just let me know which approach you’ll use and how soon you can return the polished document.
