Upgrade Existing CD/DVD Burn VB Code
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for a seasoned software engineer with extensive knowledge and experience in Visual Basic. The prospective candidate will be tasked with upgrading an existing desktop application. Currently, the project uses the XPBurnComponent.dll which does not work correctly on Windows 11. As it stands, the application provides a search function that loads filenames that match the text entered into a listview and then once the appropriate file is selected (usually a TIFF image) it then converts the file into a series of JPEGs that can be burned to a CD. (Ideally, the CD functionality would be upgraded to include DVD, Blu-Ray, etc. too.)
In any case, most of the code is already written, so the upgrade will be to take the existing sources and make them compatible with the latest version of Windows and the latest burning formats.
