A Software Console that Creates Labels for Scientific Studies (internal use labels)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a software (prefer VBA that works with office or something like that) that will allow me to create internal labels for scientific studies. The labels are for internal use, so they don't need elaborate graphic designs, but they must be legible. The user creating the labels will know how many of each kind are needed, but we want to save the labor of having to type the data for each label. These labels will be produced on 30 label sheets like is readily available at office supply stores.
I am lookin for someone who can create labels for studies that use any of up to 16 types of samples. Those 16 types of samples have a 1-3 digit code. So I want a console, with something like drop down menus, that will create all of the labels for a study. Each label will need the customer name and study code on each label. Then depending on how many of each of the 16 types of samples are needed, I need to automatically print on each label the code for a sample (1-5 digits) and the number of that sample (i.e. 1 of 14, 2 of 14, etc.). Some sample codes may be used more than once and I need for that to be automatically selectable. So some labels will be just, customer name, study code and say for example X - 1 of 2. Some samples may have multiple types in a category, so I will need the capability to make, for example. 1Y - 1 of 2 and also 2Y - 1 of 2. It isn't absolutely necessary, but it would be helpful to be able to provide a graphic for each of the 16 sample types that can also be automatically put on a label when a specific sample code is selected. I am attaching a list of the 16 sample codes and also graphics for each sample type.
