Short term need of an experienced Microsoft Visual Studio/Visual Basic programmer to approximately two dozen maintenance updates (simple to low complexity) to an existing commercial desktop application. Original programmer available for consultation and direction but not able to perform actual work.
The code is written in VS 2017. Full source code will be available for remote work. A number of bug fixes and small feature enhancements have been identified for update in the source code. Validation/acceptance testing will be performed by client staff before acceptance of changes. Upon completion assistance will be needed to build the new install kit in Install Shield after check in to Source Code. Written protocol available.
Programmer should be able to easily read and interpret existing code and fluent in debugging. Good code commenting discipline desired.
Total estimated work is ~30 hours +/-
