What I need for willi.pptm
I got a pptm, called willi.pptm. I contains many macros. There is a license, that is good for one yearr.
So when the year changes the license file needs to be checked. Therefore several things need tob e checked. I want to prevent all macros in willi.pptm to be used if they are not OKayed by a test.
This test must not have a negative impact on the performance!
A) When willi.pptm is opened, I want several things to be performed:
Check,
a) whether all required directories/certain files are existing
b) Is the license correct
c) Maybe more checks ( results will be written to the registry ), so there must be a simple way to extend the new macros/add-in.
d) Write the results of a) , b) and c) to a protocol file ( called aktuell.txt) and tot he registry
Musts
1) I want this to happen every single time when willi.pptm is opened.
2) I want this to happen only when willi.pptm ( and one other file) is opened.
3) I do not want this to happen every time powerpoint ist opened,
a. but only when willi.pptm ( and one other file) is opened.
Task
You create a solution e.g. a powerpoint add-in, that satisfies the needs described above.
The mechanism shall not be visible tot he end user. The solution shall not require an installation program. I want the user to open willi.pptm and then everything he needs to work with willi.pptm shall be prepared for him without him being able to realize, that there is something happening.
There shall be no expiration date on this and no licenses.
