I am looking for a skilled professional who can develop a macro for Microstation CONNECT Edition. The macro should be able to retrieve elevation data from a point cloud in a 3D environment.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microstation CONNECT Edition
- Strong knowledge of point cloud data processing
- Experience in developing macros for Microstation
- Familiarity with working in a 3D environment in Microstation
Requirements:
- Develop a macro to extract elevation data from a referenced point cloud in MicroStation CONNECT Edition.
- Ensure the macro is compatible with MicroStation CONNECT Edition.
- Design the macro to function within a 3D environment.
- The macro should process a txt file containing point numbers and coordinates, derive the elevation from the point cloud at each given point, and save the results (point number, input coordinates, and additional elevation) into a separate txt file.
- The elevation data should be obtained by averaging from the point cloud within a specified radius from the input point, utilizing a number of closest points from the input coordinates.
- The extracted elevation data should be formatted and outputted in a text file, using a comma as the delimiter.
- If there are not enough points within the given radius or any other non-compliance, a warning description in addition to the elevation should be written into the text file.
