Financial Tracking Spreadsheet for Hospitality Venue -- 2
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I'm looking for an Excel spreadsheet that can help me track the financial performance of my hospitality venue. The spreadsheet should be built using our historical data, but also allow for the input of new data manually.
Key Features:
- Analyze daily trading figures: The spreadsheet should allow me to see the average trade on a certain day of the year, and compare it to previous years.
- Event Impact Analysis: I want to see the effect of various events on our trade. This includes public holidays, concerts, sports events, and anything else that comes to mind.
- Year-on-Year Comparison: The spreadsheet should help me see if we're trading up or down compared to last year, and by what percentage.
- Dashboard: The spreadsheet needs to have a dashboard that looks at the week as a whole, and shows how we're trading in comparison to previous years or similar event weeks.
Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in building financial tracking spreadsheets.
- Understanding of the hospitality industry would be a plus.
- Ability to create user-friendly dashboards in Excel.
I have attached two files.
One called DTS is what we use every day at work to track the venues financials.
The Benchmark is a file i started combining the daily key figures from the weekly DTS files.
So essentially at the end of day/week, I want to take the info from the DTS and copy it into the new file.
I want the new file to show how the new info compares to historical info, daily,weekly, monthly, yearly etc.
I want to be able see if we are selling more or less, over periods of time, and by how much, both value and %.
I want to be able to search based on key events, such as new year eve, or a particular performer, so there needs to be scope for me to add this to a dates information.
