Excel book management

Job ID: 40364388

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I want a streamlined Excel workbook that lets me keep my entire book collection—both printed copies and e-books—in one place. The file should open to a clean dashboard where I can quickly add a new title, see totals by format, and search or filter by any field I decide to include.

Core requirements
• Separate tables (or a single master table with a clear Format column) so I can distinguish physical books from digital ones without maintaining two different files.
• Built-in search & filter tools—standard Excel filters are fine, but a slicer-driven summary or a small VBA search box would be even better.
• At-a-glance metrics: total count, counts by format, and a quick view of what I’ve loaned out (I’ll define the exact fields with you).
• Future-proof structure so I can add columns later without breaking the formulas or any macros.

Deliverable
An unlocked .xlsx (or .xlsm if you choose VBA) that already contains sample data, documentation inside the file that shows where to add new entries, and a brief README explaining any macros or named ranges you use.

Once I test the workbook with my own data and everything calculates correctly, the project is complete.
