find the highest price in column...then trail it so it notifies when it falls 20% percent from the highs...I exit the position when the price falls 20% from the highs ...as well as below the 200 day exponential moving average
this tells me when I am either in the trade or out of the trade
then I want to calculate the return...
basically when I am in the trade...showing open percentage return...and when I exit the trade it stops calculating..then when enter again shows the cumulative total
maybe be able to compare the returns...what is the return with just the 200 EXMA...and what is the return with combination of 20% trailing from high and 200exma....showing drawdowns as well ...
what needs to be done, I highlighted in red on the excel... and yes b4 also needs correcting
I am looking to do...stay in a trade for long periods that prices have not fallen more than 20% and have not fallen below 200exma....want to see the cumulative returns in a running column as well as the drawdowns.
