Excel SAP MM Reporting Automation

I’m streamlining the way my team analyses Material Management, Inventory and Procurement data coming out of SAP MM. Right now everything is exported manually and re-worked in multiple spreadsheets; I’d like one robust Excel solution that pulls the SAP MM data directly, cleans it, and turns it into clear, refreshable reports.

Here’s what I have and what I need from you:

• Current situation: Live SAP MM environment with standard tables and existing query variants. The raw extracts are already available; integration with Excel is required so the data can be refreshed without repeat manual effort.
• Goal: A single workbook (or small set of linked workbooks) that automatically imports the latest SAP MM data, performs the necessary transformations, and displays user-friendly dashboards for material balances, inventory ageing and procurement KPIs.
• Scope of work: configure the data connection (SAP GUI scripting, OData, RFC, or Power Query—whichever is most stable in your experience), build the transformation logic, design the analysis (pivot tables, formulas or Power Pivot) and lay out the reporting views so a non-technical user can refresh and print in one click.
• Acceptance criteria: refresh runs without errors on my machine, figures reconcile with SAP MM transactions, and every KPI is clearly traceable back to source columns.
