Excel Automation - Custom Spreadsheet Creation -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for an expert who can automate the creation of a multi-sheet Excel spreadsheet based on my input data. The data will primarily consist of text and numbers and will dictate the contents of specific cells rows and columns.
Key Requirements:
- VB for Excel
- Cell Formatting: Certain cells must be formatted in a specific way. This includes the use of conditional formatting and specific cell colours. Your attention to detail in this aspect is key to the successful completion of the project.
- Spreadsheet Structure: The project involves creating a multi-sheet spreadsheet. Each sheet will have its unique layout and requirements.
The data then in spreadsheets will form a dashboard.
Logic in creating spreadsheets:
1. Receive pdf of solar farm layout
2. Understand the layout of the holes that need to be drilled, posts to be installed, structure to be installed and modules to be installed.
3. Understand that each post, structure, and module has a number that makes it identifiable.
4. Use the pdf to understand and create an Excel spreadsheet. i.e. the first row has 200 holes. The second row is 205, then 210, 2012 etc.
5. Use the pdf to understand the first row has 2500 modules. The next 2600 etc.
6. Point 4 and 5 above are two different layout requirements.
The attached pictures are
1. Sample of what the drilling diagram layout would look like in Excel.
2. Sample of what the module layout would look like in Excel.
3. Sample of the layout received for a new project in pdf format.
The project is not to automatically extract data from .pdf.
The project is for the individual to read the pdf and understand what a solar farm layout would look like to go and create Excel spreadsheets. Not manually but by inserting data into "input cells" in Excel that will create a similar layout as seen in the pdf received. Don't get confused, it's not converting PDF data into Excel. It's using the pdf information and manually inputting data in cells that will automatically create a layout that looks like the one you "see" on pdf.
