Employee Leave Tracker Excel Template
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a clean, easy-to-update Excel sheet that lets me record day-to-day employee attendance and, most importantly, capture every instance of unpaid leave. The file should:
• Display a calendar-style grid for the month where I simply type or select “U” (or similar) to flag an unpaid day off.
• Roll those marks into running monthly and year-to-date counts, so I always see how many unpaid days each person has taken.
• Highlight employees who exceed a threshold I can change in one cell.
• Produce a quick summary tab showing totals per employee and an overall team snapshot.
A few usability touches would be great—drop-downs for status, clear colour coding, and formulas locked to avoid accidental edits—but keep the workbook lightweight so anyone in the office can open it without issues.
Deliverables: the finished Excel template in .xlsx format, filled with a small set of sample data to demonstrate how it works, plus a short note that explains which cells are editable and where to reset the month.
