Automate the rearrangement and import of an Excel Spreadsheet into a Database

We have very poorly laid out spreadsheets that contains 10 tabs. These pages have many merged cells, headings throughout the pages and a non-consistent layout. We receive these spreadsheets daily or weekly and would like to automate the process of importing them into a database. This means they will likely need to be rearranged using Visual Basic and then have an upload script that imports them into MySQL or another suitable database. You will need to be an expert in VB Scripts and Database Imports for this job. These spreasheets contain formulas and special characters, they are complicated.
