MS Access & Visual Basic & MySQL Workflow App -- 2

I need a compact MS-Access solution, backed by MySQL and driven by Visual Basic code, that tidies up the way my small business handles information. Right now our data is scattered; the goal is one place where staff can store, find, and update records without wrestling with spreadsheets or duplicate entries.
