Emotional Staircase Visuals

Project Overview:
Create a series of 14 visually cohesive images, each representing one word from the emotional staircase below. The words should appear centrally positioned in each image, with a strong, easy-to-read black font that conveys clarity and stability.

Design Concept:

The 14 images should create a gradual emotional and visual ascension — starting with dark, stormy imagery at the bottom and moving towards bright sunshine and clear skies at the top.

This represents personal growth and emotional evolution.

The transition between each step should feel natural — like the weather clearing as emotions mature.

Visual Style:

Backgrounds: Use weather themes (storm → clouds → sunlight → clear blue sky).

Font: Black, clean, modern (e.g. Helvetica, Lato, Open Sans), bold enough to stand out against variable backgrounds.

Text placement: Centred, vertically and horizontally.

No decorative effects or shadows on text — keep it simple, powerful, and professional. A small border around each word can help it stand out.

Maintain consistent lighting direction across all backgrounds for a unified look.

Image Dimensions:

Steps 1 to 13: 123mm (H) x 900mm (W)

Step 14 (Peace): 170mm (H) x 900mm (W)

All images must maintain consistent width and alignment so they can be stacked vertically to form one continuous staircase.

Use 300 DPI resolution (or 400 DPI if possible) suitable for print and digital use.

Deliverables:

14 individual high-resolution images (JPEG or PNG) to it can be printed in one go, so make them all on one image then they can be printed on a long roll and then cut into separate pieces, leaving me with one composite “staircase” version showing all 14 in vertical order.

Include source files (e.g. PSD, Canva, or layered file format).

Provide one test file first to verify colours, brightness, and font clarity before creating all 14.

Tone & Feel:

Inspirational but grounded — no clichés or cartoon-style clouds.

Should evoke progress, calm, and trustworthiness.

Can include soft gradients or natural photographic backgrounds with the light coming from the same area
