Artist in Residence
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for painters who are proficient in creating artwork for our Artist in Residence Program at Palette 22 in Washington D.C. This artist could be someone who is comfortable with short-term residencies, or who is willing to stay on permanently.
This contracted opportunity requires someone with years of experience and great skill sets in painting with abstract art. The artist should be able to work independently, as well as be a team player when working within the restaurant atmosphere or with other artists.
The ideal candidate has a portfolio of independently created pieces and is willing to push the boundaries of art and innovation. Creative problem-solving and a passion for making art are must-haves.
With this opportunity, the successful applicant will have an opportunity to have their artwork showcased, and will have a great opportunity to increase their visibility and profile as an artist. For this position, we intend to have the selected artist create multiple pieces of art that can be featured for sale or simply displayed for the public to learn from.
