KVM Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
• Deploy, manage, and support KVM, QEMU, libvirt, and virsh environments
• Implement and maintain HA/DR clustering solutions (Pacemaker, Corosync, SBD)
• Administer shared storage platforms (OCFS2, GFS2, SAN multipath)
• Execute VM migrations, particularly from VMware to KVM
• Configure and manage networking (bridging, VLANs)
• Ensure stability, performance, and availability of the virtualization infrastructure
Key Skills:
• Strong Linux administration skills (SUSE / RHEL)
• Hands-on expertise with KVM virtualization stack (KVM, QEMU, libvirt, virsh)
• Experience with HA/DR clustering technologies (Pacemaker, Corosync, SBD)
• Knowledge of enterprise storage systems (OCFS2, GFS2, SAN multipath)
• Proven experience in VM migrations from VMware to KVM
• Proficiency in networking concepts (bridging, VLANs)
