Install Eve-NG on Ubuntu

Job ID: 40049759

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

My home lab runs on an Ubuntu server and I want Eve-NG fully installed (community version), and ready for advanced network simulations. You’ll connect through my Windows PC which I’ll leave on for you; I’ll keep a PuTTY SSH session open so you can hop straight onto the box.

Key things I expect

• Eve-NG Community or Pro—whichever fits best for building complex, multi-vendor, “advanced” topologies.
• Proper kernel tweaks, nested virtualization settings, and any performance tuners needed so the platform stays stable when I spin up large labs.
• Your advice on supplementary tools or packages that make day-to-day lab life easier (Wireshark, Docker helpers, useful Eve-NG add-ons, etc.). If you feel nothing else is required, just let me know—happy to follow your guidance.
• A clean, text-only step-by-step manual written in plain English: every command, config change, reboot, and file path documented so I can repeat the process if I ever have to rebuild.

Finish up with a quick validation: I’ll import one of my bigger topologies, boot it, and verify connectivity across all nodes. Once that test passes and the guide reads clearly end-to-end, we’re done.
