Install & Configure Proxmox VE 7
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m ready to run Proxmox VE 7 but need a specialist to handle the installation and a clean, basic configuration. I have not yet decided whether we’ll spin this up on brand-new hardware or repurpose an existing server, so part of the engagement will be your advice on the smoother path forward and any prep steps I should take.
Scope of work
• Install Proxmox VE 7 on whichever server we confirm.
• Apply the standard initial settings—network bridge, storage directory, ISO repository, and user/root access tweaks—so the node is immediately usable for creating VMs and containers.
• Walk me through the web UI once everything is live, verifying that I can launch a test VM without issues.
Acceptance criteria
• Host boots straight into Proxmox VE 7 with no errors.
• Web console reachable on the expected IP and port.
• At least one functioning network bridge and local storage defined.
• Short knowledge-transfer call or screen share to confirm I can create a VM.
No clustering, advanced networking, or shared storage is required right now; a straightforward, reliable setup is the goal. If you’ve done similar bare-metal or virtual installations before and can slot this in quickly, I’d like to get started right away.
