Transform House Render into VR
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have a fully textured 3D model of my home and want to step inside it. The task is to convert that design into an immersive walkthrough that runs smoothly on Meta Quest 2. If your pipeline naturally lets you cover Meta Quest 2 / 3 / Pro or even Pico 4, great—but Quest 2 compatibility is the non-negotiable target.
All source files (FBX, textures, reference stills) are ready to hand over. You’ll import and optimise the scene, set up comfortable navigation (teleport and/or smooth locomotion), add a few simple interactions—opening doors, switching day-night lighting—and package the result as an .apk I can sideload. Whether you prefer Unity or Unreal Engine is up to you; performance and visual fidelity matter more than the tool you use, so light-mapping, occlusion culling and proper texture compression are expected.
Timewise I’m flexible, which should let you focus on polishing and hitting a steady frame-rate.
Deliverables
• Quest 2-ready build (.apk) plus complete Unity/Unreal project files
• Clear sideload/installation instructions
• Up to two revision passes after the first playable build
Acceptance criteria
• Consistent 72 fps on Meta Quest 2 without noticeable stutter
• Entire floorplan explorable, no crashes or lighting glitches
• Materials and overall look faithful to the original renders
Tell me what additional assets or documentation you’ll need and briefly outline your approach when you reply.
