Interactive VR Construction Safety Training

Job ID: 39838460

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I need a explorable residential construction site built in VR so trainees can identify and resolve workplace-safety hazards. The scene must zero in on two high-risk categories—falls from heights and electrical hazards—and present each one as an interactive problem-solving scenario rather than a simple visual cue.

Picture a two-storey house under construction: open stairwells, scaffolding, ladders, roof edges, exposed wiring and temporary power boxes. Learners should be able to move freely, spot an issue, choose a corrective action (install guardrails, lock-out/tag-out a panel, attach a harness, etc.), and then receive instant feedback. Wrong choices should trigger a realistic consequence or warning; correct choices should remove the hazard and log success.

I’m fine with Unity (URP) as long as the final build holds 90 fps on a HTV Pro Eye SteamVR headset. Re-use of licensed asset packs is welcome; just pass along any attribution notes.

Deliverables
• Project source with clearly commented hazard logic
• A modifiable Unity file and Stand-alone build (APK or EXE) ready to deploy
• Quick walkthrough video (<2 min) demonstrating every scenario
• Setup & user guide explaining controls, hazard reset, and modification steps

Acceptance criteria
1. At least four unique fall-hazard scenarios and three unique electrical-hazard scenarios, each fully interactive (I will provide the scenarios).
2. Corrective actions eliminate the hazard and display confirmation; incorrect choices generate a consequence.
3. Smooth locomotion/teleport options and intuitive object interaction.
4. Consistent 90 fps performance on SteamVR developer mode.

Prototype in two weeks, final delivery within four. Let me know which engine you prefer and any existing safety-training projects you can show.
