Cartoonish VR Experience Production

Job ID: 39850547

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a concept for a 10- to 15-minute virtual reality film that will run natively on the HTC Vive. The piece blends a light-hearted cartoon aesthetic with an emotionally driven, visually led narrative. Viewers inhabit a full virtual body, move through the story world with smooth, comfort-first locomotion, and trigger simple interactions—think gaze or single-button events rather than branching paths.

Core requirements
• Cartoon-style real-time animation suitable for VR
• Basic interactive moments that keep the audience engaged without complex decision trees
• Fluid navigation and gentle scene transitions; absolutely no sudden camera jumps or uncomfortable motion
• Visual storytelling as the primary vehicle for emotion (music and dialogue may support, but imagery carries the weight)
• Build, package, and test for HTC Vive; final delivery as a playable build plus source project (Unity or Unreal Engine preferred)

Acceptance criteria
1. A standalone Vive executable that runs consistently at 90 fps.
2. Presence of a tracked virtual body that responds naturally to the player’s controllers.
3. At least three interactive beats that advance or enrich the story.
4. Seamless transitions between scenes with no simulator sickness triggers.
5. Final runtime between 10 and 15 minutes from title card to credits.

If you’re comfortable crafting stylized VR worlds and can balance emotional depth with user comfort, I’m ready to move the project forward quickly.
