Job Posting: Setup of Secure, Anonymous V2Ray Server with Double-Hop VPS in Privacy-Focused Jurisdictions
DO NOT MESSAGE US. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RENEGOTIATE BID AFTER YOU'VE PLACED IT
Position: Privacy Network Engineer
Location: Remote
Contract Type: Project-Based / Freelance
Compensation: Negotiable (Based on experience)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Privacy Network Engineer to design, configure, and deploy a v2ray-based secure, anonymous networking solution using a double-hop VPS architecture. This system will involve two zero-knowledge VPS providers in privacy-friendly jurisdictions that do not comply with U.S. court orders, ensuring the highest level of anonymity and security for all data transmitted through the network. The ideal candidate will be experienced in setting up advanced V2Ray, VPN, and obfuscation techniques, with a keen understanding of data privacy, encryption protocols, and geopolitical factors that affect data sovereignty.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Deployment:

Configure a double-hop VPS architecture using two separate VPS providers based in countries with strong privacy laws (e.g., Iceland, Switzerland, or other privacy-centric jurisdictions).

Set up V2Ray (v2ray-core) for secure, encrypted connections using VMess or Trojan protocols.

Implement end-to-end encryption and manage encryption keys to ensure zero-knowledge access.

Ensure Data Anonymity and Security:

Implement a zero-knowledge architecture, ensuring that the VPS providers cannot access or view traffic, logs, or any data.

Set up double-hop routing, where traffic is routed through two different jurisdictions to ensure an additional layer of obfuscation and security.

Configure TLS with Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS) and other advanced encryption settings to safeguard the connection.

Implement DNS over HTTPS (DoH), obfuscation techniques, and other tools to further anonymize the connection and bypass deep packet inspection (DPI).

Jurisdiction Compliance:

Select VPS providers who are not subject to U.S. jurisdiction (i.e., those not legally compelled to provide access to data under U.S. laws like CFAA, Patriot Act, or FISA).

Ensure providers are zero-knowledge and do not store any logs of user activity.

Monitoring and Maintenance:

Provide ongoing maintenance and security updates for the V2Ray network.

Set up monitoring to ensure minimal downtime and maintain the integrity of the encryption and tunneling protocols.

Troubleshoot any connection issues, DNS leaks, or security breaches that may arise.

Documentation:

Provide detailed configuration guides and documentation for internal use to replicate and scale the setup if needed.

Ensure all steps are documented for future auditing and security checks.

Required Skills & Experience:
Expert knowledge of V2Ray (v2ray-core), including setup and configuration of VMess, Shadowsocks, and Trojan protocols.

Strong understanding of privacy laws and jurisdictions, with expertise in selecting VPS providers based on their jurisdictional laws and data retention policies.

Experience in setting up double-hop VPN architecture and multi-hop routing to increase anonymity and security.

Experience with SSL/TLS encryption, Perfect Forward Secrecy (PFS), and DNS over HTTPS (DoH).

Experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Debian preferred).

Familiarity with obfuscation techniques to mask traffic (e.g., Shadowsocks, Obfs4).

Ability to use anonymous payment methods for VPS purchases (cryptocurrency, Monero, etc.).

Knowledge of data privacy and security protocols.

Previous experience in setting up and maintaining private, secure network infrastructure.

Desired Skills:
Experience with Tor or other anonymity networks for additional traffic routing layers.

Knowledge of zero-knowledge encryption, self-managed encryption keys, and data sovereignty.

Familiarity with privacy-focused VPS providers like Njalla, FlokiNET, or Mullvad.

Strong troubleshooting skills related to network and server configuration.

Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with web server hardening and firewall configuration (iptables, nftables, etc.).

Knowledge of IPV6 configuration for better security and anonymity.

Experience with audit logging tools for zero-knowledge verification.

How to Apply:
Please send us your resume along with a brief portfolio or case studies demonstrating your experience in privacy network setup, V2Ray deployment, and related privacy technologies. In your cover letter, please highlight:

Previous projects that involved double-hop VPS or V2Ray implementation.

Your approach to ensuring zero-knowledge security.

Your experience with selecting jurisdiction-agnostic VPS providers.

Important: Only applicants who can demonstrate advanced knowledge of privacy-focused networking solutions and zero-knowledge practices will be considered.
