Replit to Linux VPS Migration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a full-stack web app built with Node.js for the backend and React for the frontend that currently runs on Replit. I’m moving it to my own Linux VPS and want the transition handled smoothly.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Export the existing Replit workspace, reorganise the codebase if needed, and prepare clean production builds for both Node.js and React.
• Upload the project to the VPS, install all required packages, and confirm that npm/yarn scripts run without errors.
• Set up basic process management (PM2 or a comparable tool) so the server restarts automatically.
• Configure environment variables (.env) and ensure the app listens on the designated port.
• Run final tests and show that the site responds correctly in a browser.
• Provide a short hand-off note covering commands used and any paths I’ll need when I take over further server configuration.
The VPS is already provisioned and running Linux; I’ll handle deeper system tweaks, reverse-proxy rules, and SSL myself. I simply want the project copied, dependencies resolved, and the service live.
If you’ve migrated Node/React stacks before—especially out of Replit—let’s talk.
