Node.js VPS Deployment & Domain Setup
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have a fully-working Node.js application running on Replit; all that’s left is to put it live. My Ubuntu-based VPS is up and reachable, and I own a domain managed through Hostinger.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Deploy the existing Node.js project to the VPS, ensuring services (PM2, systemd or your preferred process manager) start automatically on reboot and all environment variables are migrated correctly.
• Point the Hostinger DNS records to the server, set up any required A/AAAA or CNAME entries, and verify that the domain resolves over both HTTP and HTTPS (free Let’s Encrypt is fine).
Acceptance criteria
– App loads from the domain without errors.
– HTTPS certificate passes browser security checks.
– SSH/console notes left behind so I can repeat or update the deployment myself.
