Windows 11 P2V for Parallels

Job ID: 39814644

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I need my Acer desktop, currently running Windows 11, captured and converted into a Parallels-ready virtual machine so I can open it on my Mac without losing any functionality. The goal is a seamless “lift and shift”: once the job is done I should be able to double-click the .pvm package, power it on in Parallels, and find every document, installed program, and system setting exactly where I left it on the physical PC.

Scope
• Create a full sector-by-sector image (or use your preferred P2V tool) of the Acer.
• Convert that image to a Parallels-compatible format, keeping the Windows activation intact.
• Preserve personal files, installed software, and all current Windows configurations.
• Optimise drivers so the VM boots cleanly, connects to the internet, and supports basic peripherals on macOS.

Background & constraints
– No single “must-run” enterprise app; everything is general productivity software, but I want it all retained.
– I only have a partial backup, so please include a safety snapshot step before touching the live system.
– I will supply remote access or ship a disk image—whichever workflow you prefer.

Deliverable
1. A tested .pvm (or equivalent) that opens in Parallels Desktop on an M-series Mac.
2. A brief hand-off note listing the conversion steps and any post-migration tweaks you applied.

I’m ready to start as soon as you confirm the method you’ll use and the expected turnaround time.
