Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Assistant to support an up-and-coming indie band in organizing, administrating, and facilitating their growth. As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting the band, securing live bookings, blog placements, YouTube playlists, and expanding their presence in the music industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Booking and Promotion:
Collaborate closely with the band to facilitate their growth and exposure.
Secure live bookings at venues and festivals, both in the UK and abroad.
Pitch the band to blogs, radio stations, and YouTube channels to increase their online presence.
Database Management:
Create and maintain a comprehensive database of live music venues that accept indie music submissions, categorizing them by location and preferences.
Email Outreach:
Send personalized emails (10-40 per day) to venues and festivals, showcasing the band's portfolio and availability.
Maintain a record of all email communications, including the date of contact, responses received, and follow-up plans.
Press Releases:
Assist in the creation of compelling press releases highlighting the band's achievements, news, and upcoming events.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in email outreach and follow-up.
Familiarity with the indie music scene is a plus.
Excellent writing skills for crafting effective pitches and press releases.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Previous experience in music promotion or artist management is advantageous.
Additional Information:
This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and support the band's journey in the music industry. The band aims to secure a tour across a minimum of 4 UK dates, as well as perform at various festivals both in the UK and internationally.
