Virtual assistant - on call for several hours each day

I work as a software and data engineer, but have a difficult time staying focused throughout the day. So instead of, say, 8 solid hours of work, the day ends up being 15 hours of work + other random stuff thrown in, instead of 8 hours of work and then 7 hours of solid enjoyment. I’m looking for a virtual assistant that will essentially act as an “accountability partner”. Essentially, I’m looking for someone to sit in a call with me for some amount of hours each day (determined day-to-day depending on workload), and to “check in” every few minutes with questions about the work, general statements like “how’s the progress” etc. So you’d sort of be fulfilling a social coworker kind of role, to help keep my mind focused so that I can finish the work day sooner instead of straying to things like TikTok and daydreaming.
May seem like a weird request, but I’m hoping it will allow me to take on even more work and help add more structure to my day-to-day. There are a few requirements I’d like to put forth. You must be fluent in English. I’m from the U.S. myself so am more familiar with western accents, but accent isn’t a strict requirement. Male/female/etc, doesn’t matter to me. You don’t have to be knowledgeable in my fields, but it would help to be able to hold your own in a conversation involving data and software development, as I’m hoping to have genuine conversation rather than a “how are things going” every 5 minutes, which would get very boring very quickly. Even if you have to fake interest that’s fine, just as long as the check ins don’t get stale like you don’t care what is said at all.
If I think of anything more specific I’ll add the details here. You’re free to do other things during the calls, so I’m not looking for your constant undivided attention, however I don’t want to hear background sounds, other people talking, etc.
To summarize, I’m basically just looking for a constant presence to keep my mind focused. If I have someone expecting an answer every few minutes, my mind isn’t going to wander.
