I’m looking for a dependable virtual assistant who is comfortable working in a technically oriented environment and can keep pace with day-to-day operational needs. Because most of my projects revolve around codebases, APIs, and general software workflows, I prefer someone whose background is in software development; that familiarity will make it easier for you to understand the context of the requests I’ll send your way and to communicate clearly with engineers on my team.
The actual assignments will vary—sometimes it’s organising documentation, other times it’s preparing concise progress summaries, light research on new libraries or tools, or helping me triage GitHub issues so that nothing slips through the cracks. Solid written English, a proactive attitude, and the ability to juggle several small tasks without constant supervision are essential. You should also be comfortable jumping into typical developer tooling (think version-control platforms, basic command-line usage, and cloud dashboards) even if the task itself is administrative.
