Part-Time Shopify VA & Developer

I run an e-commerce brand built on Shopify and I’m ready to bring in steady, part-time help from someone who can switch comfortably between light virtual-assistant duties and hands-on store development work.

On the web side, you’ll handle everything from quick theme tweaks (Liquid, HTML/CSS, JavaScript) to app installs, page-speed fixes, product page improvements and the occasional custom section build. I maintain a small backlog in Trello; you’ll pick up two or three development tasks a week, push to a staging theme, and submit a quick Loom walkthrough before we publish.

Because this is a hybrid role, I’ll also lean on you for general admin support—answering routine emails, updating spreadsheets, booking calls—whatever keeps the store and my calendar running smoothly. The mix of technical vs. VA work will vary week to week, but the hours will stay consistent and predictable.

You’ll succeed here if you:

• already know your way around Shopify’s admin, theme structure and Liquid templating
• write clean, well-commented code and test before pushing live
• communicate proactively, giving me short status updates without being prompted
• are comfortable slotting smaller VA tasks between dev tickets so nothing lingers in the inbox

Deliverables will be accepted when:
– code changes are live with no theme errors, tested on desktop and mobile
– the brief’s admin tasks are completed and confirmed in our shared tracker
– a concise changelog or note is logged for each piece of work
