Talent Recruiter / Hiring Manager (Upwork Talent Sourcing – Social Media Growth)

I’m building a network of viral short-form social media hubs focused on psychology, relationships, life direction, and mindset for young adults.

I’m looking for a recruiter who will use their own Upwork account to actively search for and source candidates who have real experience scaling short-form content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Your job is to identify, contact, and screen candidates on Upwork, then present the strongest ones for final interviews.

I will provide the job posting text for you to post on your Upwork account.

This role involves proactive searching as well not just posting a job listing.

Responsibilities

• Search for candidates on Upwork using your own account
• Identify freelancers experienced in short-form content growth and theme pages
• Review profiles, portfolios, and past client work
• Conduct short screening interviews
• Present the best candidates with a summary of their strengths

Qualifying Questions to Ask Candidates

Please ask candidates the following questions and include their answers when presenting them:
1. If you were asked to produce 50 short-form videos per week, what workflow would you create to make that possible?
2. How would you find strong clips from podcasts or long videos without watching entire episodes?
3. If a page posts 100 videos and only 5 perform well, how would you analyze and adjust the strategy?
4. Have you ever grown or managed theme pages or short-form social media accounts? If so, please describe the results.
5. What do you believe are the three most important factors that make short-form content go viral?
