Project Overview:
We’re launching a one-of-a-kind visual content initiative celebrating the personalities of cats and dogs across the United States. This short-term freelance opportunity is ideal for animal lovers with a strong eye for videography, an iPhone 15 Pro (or newer), and a passion for capturing authentic, engaging moments. Your work will help bring warmth and personality to a major digital storytelling project.
Location:
United States (Filming from your home, friends’/family homes, or approved pet-friendly spaces — no cages or kennels allowed)
Role Overview:
We’re looking for multiple freelance videographers to capture high-resolution, natural video clips of 120 cats and 120 dogs, with 3 video clips per animal (7–15 seconds each). You’ll use your own iPhone to film in calm, open, and comfortable environments — such as living rooms, backyards, or studios — where the animals can move freely and naturally.
Key Responsibilities:
Film short, steady video portraits (3 per animal) showcasing natural behavior, expressions, or interactions
Ensure filming is done in humane, clean, and stress-free environments (no cages or enclosures)
Capture high-quality, well-lit footage following provided creative guidelines
Submit videos in organized batches with animal names and brief notes
Communicate with the core team for feedback and direction throughout the process
Ideal Candidates:
Have access to multiple dogs or cats through friends, family, shelters (with proper access), or breeders with free-roaming animals
Comfortable and patient when working around animals
Have a natural visual style and can film engaging animal footage with minimal movement and strong focus
Familiar with iPhone camera settings and stabilization techniques
Detail-oriented, communicative, and organized
Requirements:
Based in the United States
Personal access to an iPhone 15 Pro / Pro Max or newer, with iOS 18.4+
Ability to film animals in non-restrictive settings (living rooms, yards, pet-friendly areas – no cages or kennels)
Available to film multiple animals across a 1–2 week period
Reliable internet for file transfers and communication
Compensation & Benefits:
$15–$18 per hour or flat rate per batch of animals (based on quality and volume)
Bonus for high-quality, efficiently submitted clips
Flexible filming schedule (daytime preferred)
Opportunity to contribute to a high-visibility creative project
Potential for future animal content work

Duration: 1–2 weeks (flexible depending on volume and location)
