San Diego Beach Proposal Videography
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m planning a surprise proposal on one of San Diego’s beaches and need the whole moment preserved on video without it feeling staged. Think natural, unscripted coverage: you melt into the background, roll from the moment we arrive until we walk off the sand, yet keep the gear footprint light so my partner never suspects.
I’d like clean, well-framed visuals of the entire proposal. For sound, please record only the key parts—when I start speaking, the actual question, and her answer—so we can avoid long stretches of wind noise. A small lav mic or discreet shotgun solution is fine as long as it stays invisible to her.
Afterward, I want a lightly edited highlight film that captures the build-up, the question, our reactions, and a few candid shots right after, plus all usable raw footage delivered via download link.
Deliverables
• 3-5 minute highlight edit in 1080p or 4K
• Color-corrected, lightly graded to keep natural tones
• Separate audio track for the recorded key moments
• All raw clips
Preferred date is flexible over the next few weeks as the day will need to be ideal weather; sunset timing would be ideal. Let me know your availability, recent work that shows a similar natural style, and any thoughts on keeping the setup discreet on a public beach.
