Media Pouch is hiring a video producer who is a video editing guru and pro cinematographer.
We're looking for an EPIC Video Producer to join the team!

Job Type:
Three Month Contract with option to convert into Full Time upon 90 day review.
Salary: $24K - $36K depending on experience level.
ABOUT YOU:
You're a video editing guru and pro cinematographer who knows how to manage time, edit within the adobe suite, knows how to be creative and think outside the box with your edits, and understands how to shoot on Sony cinema cameras. You're looking to apply your skills to real-life business situations to gain experience and grow with the company.
Responsibilities
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Video Editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Understands how to film and operate Sony cinema cameras
