Documentary Journey Videographer Needed

Job ID: 39821389

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I’m about to document a very personal journey in Shangrao and I need a videographer who can follow the moments as they naturally unfold. Think observational rather than staged: quick, instinctive decisions, an eye for little details, and a feel for real-time storytelling.

The footage should carry the full spectrum of emotions and experiences I’ll be moving through—joy, doubt, reflection, growth—without turning into a glossy highlight reel. Light, unobtrusive editing is key; I want the finished piece to breathe and let pauses, ambient sound, and genuine reactions stay intact.

We’ll be shooting across three main backdrops: lively urban streets, the surrounding natural landscapes, and intimate home spaces. You should feel equally comfortable weaving these settings together and finding transitions that make the viewer feel part of the journey.

If you’re based in Shangrao (or can travel in easily), please send:
• a link to one project that shows your talent for emotional, documentary-style storytelling
• your upcoming availability
• your rate card or day rate

I’ll review reels as they arrive and reach out to set up a quick call to align on schedule, gear, and any prep you might need. Looking forward to seeing how you capture stories that live and breathe on their own.
