Culturally significant sites including Angkor Wat: Tourist Interactions Capturing
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am seeking a skilled videographer and photographer to document tourist interactions at Angkor Wat. Emphasis should be placed on their interactions with the environment, capturing their behaviors and actions as they experience UNESCO world heritage sites including Angkor Wat.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in travel and documentary-style photography and videography.
- An unobtrusive approach, capturing candid moments without staging.
- Ability to capture tourist behaviors including reading signs and educational materials, littering, photo taking including "selfies", any behaviors that show respect of disrespect to the physical environment, any spiritual activities including meditation or prayer, and fence climbing or rule breaking.
- The ability to bring out the emotion and significance of the interactions between tourists and their environment.
- Good understanding of composition to highlight the cultural significance and physical beauty of Angkor Wat and other sites.
This project will require you to spend significant time on location, hence familiarity with Angkor Wat or similar settings will be advantageous. Understanding the patterns of movements and timing throughout the day will surely help in capturing essential interactions.
