Cinematic Video Editor for In-depth Interviews
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project Overview:
We are producing a series of in-depth interview videos featuring racers, artists, and spiritual teachers. Each episode will be 5-20 minutes long, covering 10-15 questions. Currently, we only need the first episode edited, but the project file should be structured as a templatefor future episodes (e.g., easily updating subtitles, b-roll, etc.). If the collaboration goes well, we may consider long-term cooperation.
Style & Tone
- Professional, cinematic, and contemplative** (similar to high-end TV interviews, not YouTube-style dynamic/overly vibrant edits).
- Avoid fast cuts, flashy transitions, or excessive effects.
- Prioritize depth, sophistication, and inclusivity in pacing and visuals.
Editing Structure
1. Opening Sequence
- Fixed intro :
Provided footage: Train moving + music (files will be supplied).
- Custom intro ( after fixed intro )
- A montage of b-roll related to the interviewee (can use template effects, we can provide).
2. Main Interview (Body)
- Pre-edited footage (questions in order, already roughly cut).
- Requirements:
- Smooth transitions between questions (e.g., subtle crossfades, no abrupt jumps).
- highlight the questions (clean, professional typography).
- Lower-third titles for interviewee introductions (name, title).
- Minor color grading for consistency.
3. Closing Sequence
No strict requirements
---
Technical & Deliverables
- Project file should allow easy future updates (replace b-roll, subtitles, etc.).
- Format:** 1080p video + project file ( Premiere Pro is preferred )
