Multi-Camera Event Recording Timecoder
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Video timecoder for multi-camera event recordings
No editing required — just accurate in/out timecodes for each video stream. Ongoing work available for the right person.
What the job is
I produce multi-speaker events (panels, podcasts, and interviews) recorded on three simultaneous cameras per speaker: a Zoom recording of the full event, a wide-view camera, and a closeup camera. Because these streams start and stop at different times, a video editor cannot stack them without first knowing exactly where each clip's usable content begins and ends.
Your job is to open each video file for a given speaker, identify the usable in-point and out-point for each clip, and record those timecodes in a notes document (I will provide a template and examples). No cutting, no color work, no audio mixing — timecodes only.
What you will deliver
One notes document per speaker, listing every clip (Zoom, wide view, closeup) with its start and end timecode and the file link
Timecodes accurate to the second — my editor depends on these to align streams
Completed within 24 hours of assignment (each speaker set takes roughly 15 minutes)
Scale and pay
I have 7 past events to process first (approximately 12 speakers each = ~84 speaker sets), then ongoing monthly events and podcast recordings. This is a long-term hourly engagement for the right person. Rate is $3/hr — each speaker set should take no more than 15 minutes, so you should be able to complete 3–4 per hour.
Video files are stored on pCloud and shared via link. You will need a reliable internet connection to stream or download them.
To apply
Please confirm you understand the task in your own words — specifically what "in-point" and "out-point" mean in the context of syncing multi-camera footage. Applicants who demonstrate they understand the workflow will be prioritized. I will send you one sample set to complete as a paid test before assigning the full backlog.
As needed
Skills needed
Video playback, timecoding, attention to detail
