MadMapper Video Installation Setup
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m putting together a small-room exhibit that relies on precise projection mapping driven through MadMapper. The entire piece happens in a single, contained space, but I want the audience to feel as though the walls themselves are alive. Your main task is to build and finesse the projection map, then pipe live video feeds into it so the visuals react in real time to the environment and visitors.
Here’s how I picture the collaboration: you first help me refine the layout and masking inside MadMapper, then create the scenes, cues, and routing that allow multiple live-camera inputs to be composited and warped onto the surfaces cleanly. Once the mapping is solid, you’ll optimize playback settings, test color and brightness on-site (or remotely with my assistance), and leave me with a tidy project file plus clear instructions for everyday operation.
Deliverables
• MadMapper project file with all masks, presets, and live-feed routings
• A brief video walkthrough (screen-capture) of your patch explaining how to swap or add cameras
• A one-page quick-start guide covering projector settings, cabling, and show-time steps
