Help with Gstreamer, RTSP, C++

I have a C++ media player using gstreamer but I need to update it to support LAN RTSP streams and with less than 1 second latency. I am not a gstreamer expert and need some advice on how to set up the pipeline correctly (it currently works for everything except RTSP, so there could be a gstreamer bug to work around). I need someone who can review my code, is familiar with RTSP working in gstreamer, and can offer advice.
