Description:
I run a YouTube channel that provides guidance to Muslim parents and youth. I produce one long-form video per week (15–25 minutes) and need an editor who can polish the video and repurpose it into engaging short-form clips for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook.

Responsibilities:

Edit 1 long-form video (16:9) per week:

Remove filler words and pauses

Add captions/subtitles

Smooth transitions, light music if suitable

Basic text overlays or callouts for key points

Repurpose into 5–7 short-form clips (9:16):

30–60 sec each, optimized for Shorts/Reels/TikTok

Add captions, hook text at the top, and my handle/logo

Deliver final files organized as:

1 long YouTube video (16:9)

5–7 shorts (9:16)

What I’ll provide:

Raw video footage (recorded with mic + camera)

Timestamp notes for important clips

Branding guidelines (logo, fonts/colors)

Requirements:

Experience editing for YouTube + short-form platforms

Strong sense of pacing and storytelling

Proficiency in captions and engaging visual formatting

Reliable weekly turnaround (ideally 3–5 days)

Preferred but not required:

Familiarity with Islamic/Muslim content (so cultural sensitivity is maintained)

Budget: Looking for an affordable weekly rate. Please share your price per package (1 long-form video + 5–7 shorts).
